Allwinner A523 är en mycket prisvärd ARM-baserad SoC för smartphones och surfplattor. Den åttakärniga processorn som presenteras i 2023 består av två fyrkärniga kluster, var och en bestående av 4 Cortex-A55-kärnor.

Det snabbare klustret arbetar med en klockfrekvens på upp till 1,8 GHz och erbjuder 128 KB L2-cache per A55-kärna, medan det andra klustret arbetar med en klockfrekvens på upp till 1,4 GHz och endast erbjuder 64 KB L2-cache per kärna.

I en annan version av Allwinner A523 klockar det första quad-klustret upp till 2,0 GHz. Den ARM Mali-G57 MC1 används som grafikenhet med stöd för OpenGL 3.2, Vulkan 1.0 och OpenCL 2.0. En XuanTie E906 RISC-V PMU är också integrerad.

Allwinner SoC kan styra upp till 4 GB DDR3/DDR4/LPDDR2/LPDDR3/LPDDR4/LPDDR4X RAM-minne och eMMC 5.1 flashminne. Förutom PCIe 2.1 stöds även USB 3.1 Gen. 1 och Gigabit Ethernet som gränssnitt. Det finns också en H264/H265-videoavkodare (upp till 4K vid 60 bilder per sekund) och en H264-kodare (upp till 4K vid 25 bilder per sekund).

Allwinner A523 tillverkas med en strukturbredd på 22 nm.
