AMD A10-8700P är en APU i mellanklassen från generationen Carrizo (2015) för vanliga bärbara datorer. Den är en SoC (System on a Chip) med två "Excavator" CPU-moduler (med 4 heltals- och 2 FP-kärnor, vilket räknas som 4 kärnor), en Radeon R7-grafikkrets med 8 beräkningskärnor (384 shaders), en minnesstyrenhet för DDR3-2133 (35 Watt cTDP) och en videomotor med UVD 6 med HEVC/H.265 avkodning.

Prestandan med CPU- och GPU-delarna beror på kretsens konfigurerbara TDP. Detta (c)TDP kan variera från 12 till 35 watt beroende på kylningslösning och storlek på den bärbara datorn. Därför kommer klockfrekvenserna att variera. Exempelvis kan grafikprocessorn få mellan 1764 poäng (15 watt) och 2359 poäng (+34% med 35 Watt cTDP) i 3DMark 11 (P). 

CPU-prestandan med en 35 Watt cTDP bör vara något högre än Kaveri A10-7400P. Om den konfigurerats med en TDP på 15 watt blir processorn klart långsammare eftersom Boost-hastigheten inte kan upprätthållas under längre perioder.
