Acer Swift 5 SF514-54T has its fair share of pros and cons. The cons include wobbling display and the constricted keyboard. On the positive side is the fast processor, long battery life, lightweight adding to the portability and sleek design. Clearly, there are more points on the right side than the wrong side. But then comes the price of the laptop - a hefty price tag of Rs 97,990. Not many in India may be willing to spend this much amount given the price-conscious mindset. And those who may be willing could possibly look for other choices like the Apple MacBook Air -- that is if they want to switch from Windows to Mac.

I love the Acer Swift 5. It's super-light (and anyone that reads my work knows I love light devices) and easy to carry, but it doesn't make compromises. And the coolest part to me is that it also doesn't compromise on style. The two-tone blue and gold design is sleek, and it differentiates between not just other magnesium laptops, but all other laptops.

But while there are certainly areas where the new Swift 5 could improve, the trade-offs you have to make for the compact build are comparably few. Acer has made subtle, but noticeable improvements in areas that matter. The newly matte screen looks and feels better, the fingerprint reader is better, and while the design doesn’t look premium, it’s no longer an eyesore. Ports are still limited, but we finally have Thunderbolt 3. The keyboard is imperfect, but fine. The speakers are imperfect, but fine. The touchpad is imperfect, but fine. Everything is basically fine.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
