Intel Core i9-14900 är en high-end processor baserad på Raptor Lake-arkitekturen. Basklockan är 2 GHz och kan nå upp till 5,8 GHz under optimala förhållanden. I likhet med toppmodellen (Intel Core i9-14900K) är de totalt 32 trådarna uppdelade i 8 p- och 16 e-cores. De 8 prestandakärnorna (p-cores) erbjuder även hyperthreading, vilket innebär att totalt 32 trådar kan bearbetas samtidigt. Icke-K-modellen är en ekonomisk processor. Det finns fortfarande möjlighet att välja DDR4- eller DDR5-minne.

Prestanda

Jämfört med Intel Core i9-14900Kerbjuder Core i9-14900 samma antal fysiska beräkningsenheter. På grund av den lägre strömförbrukningen levererar Intel Core i9-14900 dock något sämre prestanda. Den avsedda användningen är främst för kompakta datorer med begränsade kylningsalternativ.

Grafikenhet

Precis som Intel Core i9-14900K erbjuder Intel Core i9-14900 en integrerad grafikenhet. Intel Iris Xe-arkitekturen fortsätter att fungera som bas. När det gäller prestanda har dock ingenting förändrats med Intel UHD Graphics 770.

Strömförbrukning

Intel Core i9-14900 är specificerad med en TDP på 65 watt, vilket motsvarar PL1-värdet. I boost-läge kan processorns prestanda öka till upp till 219 watt (PL2). Detta kräver dock mycket bra kylning. Jämfört med Intel Core i9-13900 har den specificerade strömförbrukningen inte ändrats.
