Intel i5-13400

Intel Core i5-13400 är en toppmodern och snabb stationär processor och tillhör den nuvarande Raptor Lake-serien. Processorn introducerades i början av 2023 och har en basklocka på 2,5 GHz. Den når upp till 4,6 GHz i turboläge. Som med Alder Lake-S är Raptor Lake-S också baserad på en hybriddesign som kombinerar P- och E-kärnor. Intel Core i5-13400 erbjuder därför 6 P-kärnor och 4 E-kärnor, som kan bearbeta totalt upp till 16 trådar parallellt. Processorn fortsätter att tillverkas med 10 nm-produktionsprocessen (kallad "Intel 7"). Intel Core i5-13400 har inte en fritt valbar multiplikator. LGA 1700-uttaget som introducerades med Alder Lake-serien fungerar som bas. Intel Core i5-13400 kan baseras på antingen ett Raptor Lake- eller Alder Lake-chip. Inledningsvis kommer dock Alder Lake-chip att levereras.

Prestanda

Jämfört med Intel Core i5-12400 har IPC för den nya Core i5-13400 ökat något. Ändå finns det nu också 4 e-cores, som stöder processorn när det gäller multi-thread-prestanda. Detta sätter Intel Core i5-13400 på samma nivå som en Intel Core i5-12600K, som också erbjuder totalt 16 trådar.

Grafisk enhet

Intel Core i5-13400 är en processor med integrerad grafikenhet, men den lämpar sig endast för kontorsanvändning eller mycket gamla och lågkrävande spel.

Strömförbrukning

TDP för Intel Core i5-13400 är 65 watt i PL1. Intel definierar PL2-gränsen till 148 watt. Om begränsningarna för strömförbrukning inaktiveras i BIOS kan PL2-värdet nås permanent. En högkvalitativ och kraftfull kylenhet bör dock användas för detta.
