Intel U300

Intel Processor U300 är en mobil instegsprocessor för tunna och lätta bärbara datorer i Raptor Lake-U-seriene. Den tillkännagavs i början av 2023 och har en prestandakärna (P-kärnor, troligen Golden Cove-arkitektur som Alder Lake) och 4 effektiva kärnor (E-kärnor, Gracemont-arkitektur). P-kärnorna stöder Hyper-Threading vilket leder till 6 stödda trådar när de kombineras med E-kärnorna. Klockfrekvensen varierar från 1,2 till 4,4 GHz i prestandaklustret och från 0,9 till 3,3 GHz i det effektiva klustret. Prestandan hos E-cores bör vara jämförbar med gamla Skylake-kärnor (jämför med Core i7-6700HQ). Alla kärnor kan använda upp till 8 MB L3-cache.

Prestanda

Prestandan bör vara liknande den gamla Alder Lake Pentium 8505 med den enda skillnaden att U300 har högre stödd LPDDR5-frekvens. Den Core i3-1305U är också mycket lik, men erbjuder mer L3-cache och 100 MHz högre boost-klockhastighet för P-kärnan.

Funktioner

Den integrerade minneskontrollern stöder olika minnestyper upp till DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 och LPDDR4x-4267. Thread Director (i hårdvaran) kan hjälpa operativsystemet att bestämma vilken tråd som ska användas på prestandakärnorna eller de effektiva kärnorna för bästa prestanda. För AI-uppgifter integrerar processorn även GNA 3.0 och DL Boost (via AVX2). Quick Sync i version 8 är samma som i Rocket Lake-processorerna och stöder MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1-avkodning, JPEG, VP8-avkodning, VP9, HEVC och AV1-avkodning i hårdvara. CPU:n har endast stöd för PCIe 4.0 (x8 för en GPU och två x4 för SSD-enheter).

Den integrerade grafikkortet är baserat på Xe-arkitekturen och erbjuder 48 av de 96 EUs (Execution Units) som arbetar med upp till 1,1 GHz.

Strömförbrukning

U300 har en basströmförbrukning på 15 W, med 55 W som maximal Intel-rekommenderad Turbo-strömförbrukning. Processorn är tillverkad av Intel i en förbättrad 10nm SuperFin-process (fortfarande kallad Intel 7).
