Intel i5-11600K

Intel Core i5-11600K är en högkvalitativ processor för skrivbordssystem baserad på Rocket Lake-arkitekturen. Processorn har 6 kärnor och 12 trådar som är klockade till 3,9-4,9 GHz (endast Turbo Boost 2.0). Om alla kärnor används kan processorn klockas upp till 4,6 GHz.  

TDP är beräknad till 125 Watt (PL1, power limit sustained load) men PL2 är inställd på cirka 250 Watt för kortvariga boosts (upp till 56 sekunder). 

Sunny Cove-processorkärnorna (kända från Ice Lake-mobilprocessorerna) erbjuder större cacheminnen och en förbättrad IPC (upp till 19 %). Vidare innehåller chipet även (delvis) integrerat WiFi 6E och Thunderbolt 4. Plattformen har stöd för PCIe 4.0 och Intel DL Boost för AI-acceleration.

Tack vare den snabbare kärnarkitekturen kan 11600K slå den gamla i5-10600K med cirka 20 procent. Därför är i5-11600K ett bra mellanklassval för spel.

De snabbare Rocket Lake-S CPU:erna integrerar också en ny Intel UHD Graphics 750 som är baserad på den nuvarande Intel Xe-arkitekturen (t.ex. mobila Tiger Lake) och erbjuder 32 EUs. I 11600K är GPU:n klockad från 350 - 1300 MHz.

CPU:n tillverkas i den gamla 14nm-processen liksom Comet Lake- föregångarna. Strömförbrukningen är inte lika hög, som Core i9-11900K, men kan inte komma i närheten av den strömsnåla Ryzen 5 5600X.
