The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset may not be the fastest, but it can easily run most games at the highest settings available. If you are looking for an Android tablet to play games and watch videos and don’t like big-screen devices from the likes of OnePlus, Samsung or Xiaomi, the Legion Tab makes perfect sense. However, those looking for continued software support and a visually appealing UI may have to look elsewhere.

At the end of the day, the Lenovo Legion Tab (TB320FC) is a great tablet for power users, gamers, and people who will use it just for Web browsing or watching videos. This is possible because the device offers great sustainable performance during heavy loads and a PWM-free IPS display with 98% sRGB color coverage. During normal usage, the back of the machine stays pleasantly cool. If you plan to game a lot, the hard back case will help for a bit better heat dissipation which is important when gaming for an hour or two. In this case, the area close to the camera feels warm but not extreme. The screen isn’t an OLED one, which means it lacks the typical flicker that is usual for this kind of panel.

Lenovo:

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.

Qualcomm Adreno 730:

Grafikkrets för smartphones och surfplattor som är integrerad i Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm hävdar att det är 30 % snabbare än Adreno 660 i Snapdragon 888 SoC. För Android bör det vara ett av de snabbaste grafikkorten i slutet av 2021.

Qualcomm Adreno 750: Grafikchip för smartphones och surfplattor som är integrerat i Qualcomms Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Qualcomm hävdar att det är 25 % snabbare än Adreno 7340 i Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 och de första benchmarks visar att GPU:n kan slå iGPU:n Apple A17 Pro.

SD 8+ Gen 1:

Högkvalitativ SoC för smartphones som introducerades i slutet av 2021 och tillverkades i 4 nm hos TSMC. Integrerar en "Prime Core" baserad på en ARM Cortex-X2-arkitektur som klockas upp till 3,2 GHz. Tre ytterligare prestandakärnor är baserade på A710 men klockar upp till 2,5 GHz. Dessutom integreras fyra energisparande kärnor som är baserade på ARM Cortex-A510-arkitekturen och klockar upp till 1,8 GHz. Förutom processorkärnorna integrerar SoC:n ett WiFi 6e-modem, en Hexagon DSP (för AI-acceleration) och en Spectra ISP. Den integrerade minneskontrollern stöder snabbt LPDDR5-minne med upp till 3 200 MHz. 5G ingår nu i chipet med Snapdragon X65-modemet. Jämfört med non plus-versionen erbjuder 8+ Gen 1 en 200 MHz högre klockad Prime Core och en 10 % högre klockad GPU. Dessutom tillverkas den nu hos TSMC och inte hos Samsung.
