Unfortunately, the OLED panel is not battery life’s biggest friend, as we got less than 8 hours of Web browsing, and almost 5 hours of video playback. That would be a problem if you are a traveler, or you rely on your battery more often than not. In this case, we would suggest opting for a different display.

In fact, for tablet use, the best was the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, a 3:2 ultra-light convertible that was specifically designed to be great at being a tablet and a laptop, while most convertibles are meant to be a laptop first. The Titanium Yoga is no more though, so the ThinkPad X1 Yoga gets the crown of best business convertible.

That might not be everyone’s personal calculus. If you don’t need a device unplugged for more than five to six hours at a time, this is a more attractive computer for you than it is for me. Still, Lenovo is charging a high price for this device, and there are companies out there making processors that will last you twice as long to a charge. I want a device that’s well over $2,000 to last me a workday, and we shouldn’t be asked to settle for less. A device with the ThinkPad’s beauty, power, price, and legendary branding deserves better.

I like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7. A lot. I’ve personally purchased ThinkPads for most of my life, and the X1 Yoga Gen 7 underscores the reasons for my preference. It has a handsome, durable exterior, a great keyboard, offers the unique TrackPoint impact, and delivers on connectivity and battery life. It’s great for working long hours yet portable enough for travel. The X1 Yoga is also more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio which, though now a generation behind on processor performance, provides a more compelling 2-in-1 experience. Lenovo’s premium ThinkPads target very specific customers with a willingness to pay for exactly what they want. If that’s you (or your boss is willing to foot the bill), awesome. But most people would be better off buying the Yoga 9i and pocketing the savings.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Integrerat grafikkort i Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoCs som bygger på den nya Gen. 12-arkitekturen med 96 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). Klockfrekvensen beror på processormodellen. Tiger Lake-kretsarna tillverkas i den moderna 10nm+-processen hos Intel.

i7-1270P: En avancerad processor i Alder Lake-P-familjen med 4 prestandakärnor och 8 effektiva kärnor tillsammans med 96 EU Iris Xe iGPU och vPro-funktionsuppsättning på "Enterprise"-nivå. CPU-kärnorna körs på 1,6 GHz till 4,8 GHz. Denna i7 är utformad för användning i ultralätta (men ändå aktivt kylda) bärbara datorer. Dess prestandakärnor har den trådfördubblande Hyper-Threading-tekniken för totalt 16 trådar. Base Power för Core i7-1270P är 28 W.

En CPU i övre mellanklassen av Alder Lake-familjen med 4 prestandakärnor och 8 effektiva kärnor. Denna 28 W SoC är utformad för att användas i ultralätta bärbara datorer. Core i7-1260P:s prestandakärnor är Hyper-Threading-aktiverade för totalt 16 trådar. Denna 12th Gen CPU körs på 1,5 GHz till 4,7 GHz och har stöd för vPro-funktioner i "Essentials"-nivån.
