If all you want is a basic convertible laptop that can become a tablet when the need arises, your $600 gets you a lot more today than it did earlier this year. With a full HD screen, twice the storage, and long battery life, the Lenovo Yoga 710 (11") is a model of what's possible in this category. You have other options if you want to spend less—the Asus Transformer Mini (T102HA-D4-GR), a new Editors' Choice, is a detachable-hybrid that costs $200 less and has longer battery life, though there's the expected performance hit. And, as demonstrated above, if you're willing to pay a bit more, you can take a step up in power. But for balancing these qualities and more in the entry-level segment, the 11-inch Yoga 710 well deserves to replace the Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1 Special Edition (3153) as our Editors' Choice budget convertible-hybrid.

All in all, we're impressed with the 11.6-inch Yoga 710. Its screen is too small to take advantage of stand or tent mode and give a presentation, but it's a handy little computer with the even handier ability to flip into tablet mode for occasional Web or Netflix enjoyment. We wish our test configuration were $499 instead of $599, though, because of the large segment of owners who used the small MacBook Air mostly as a simple note-taker and basic productivity machine. They have a lot of less powerful but considerably less expensive options, such as the Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA.

The Lenovo Yoga 710 is a really a great laptop if you want to be on the move and able to still get email, documents, and web browsing done. Works great as a streaming media machine as well as the display is crispy. Battery life is super so long as you keep streaming to a dull roar, of course battery will drain the more streaming you do.

The Lenovo Yoga 710 11 offers a satisfactory combination of features and performance for the price. It looks attractive enough, and is relatively easy to carry around, though it’s hefty as a tablet. It went for over six and a half hours in our battery test, some of the longest we’ve seen.

The Lenovo YOGA 710 is one of those laptops you get when you want something lightweight and nice looking, you need a decent amount of power but also good battery life, and you don’t want to entirely break the bank but you’re looking beyond the budget tier. The laptop really is very nice looking, so much so that the design’s probably chiefly responsible for first attracting prospective buyers. As with many YOGA products, though, it is more than just a pretty face and the model is well suited to meet most buyers’ needs.

The 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 710 is a lightweight hybrid that offers great battery life, performance and audio. Unfortunately, its too-blue display and warm underside hurt an otherwise solid experience. Those who need more horsepower should check out the Acer Switch Alpha 12, though that machine offers less battery life and costs $150 more.

The Lenovo Yoga 11 710 is a Windows take on the 12in MacBook mould, but at half the price and with a super-flexi hinge for a bit of hybrid flavour. Build quality is good, the screen is nice, the keyboard fine, and battery life is even better than the company's claims. Other than an occasionally fiddly-feeling trackpad and lack of memory card slot, you'll only encounter issues if you radically overestimate what an Intel Core M laptop like this can do.

You don’t sacrifice aesthetics or functionality provided you’re looking for an ultra-portable machine, with quick bouts of writing, surfing or movie watching in mind, otherwise, the 14-inch Yoga 710 might be the best alternative.

The Lenovo Yoga 11 710 is a great little device for those who travel a lot or who have no need for a big laptop. This is one of the best alternatives to the 12-inch MacBook, a truly tiddly machine that offers better value than Apple, not to mention a touchscreen and an ultra-flexible hinge. It's not powerful, but that's not the point. The trackpad, like several of Lenovo’s recent models, is not perfect. But given the great value on offer here it’s worth persevering with.

Intel HD Graphics 515: Integrerad GPU (GT2) med 24 EU:er. Används i Core M-processorer från Skylake-generationen (4,5 W TDP).

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
