The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i (2024) shows that while dual-screen designs are still outside the mainstream, the right design does a lot to move it from gimmick to "gimme, gimme!" The twin OLED panels look excellent, the device feels comfortable, and the performance is potent enough to make this your daily driver. Sure, it has some quirks, like a bundle of accessories you'll need to tote along, a digital-only touchpad, and a spartan selection of ports. Still, anyone buying a dual- or folding-screen laptop will face similar challenges. If you're in the market for one of these all-screen devices, you could do much worse than the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i (2024). The two-screen setup avoids the pitfalls of foldables, and while the battery life isn't lengthy, that was a given with two high-res displays. For now, the Asus Zenbook Duo (UX8406) remains our Editors’ Choice award holder purely on performance, but Asus had better watch out: Lenovo's coming for that top spot.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is a dual-display work of art. With the included folio stand, the laptop can be propped up in landscape mode to create the best portable workstation I’ve ever had. With such easy app-juggling, my productivity levels were out of this world. It's like a two-monitor desktop setup you can carry in your hand. I often had Spotify and my Pomodoro timer open on the bottom half while I was working in Google Docs on the top half. And if I had articles to read, I’d flip the laptop to book mode. There’s a virtual keyboard and trackpad you can use, too. But to keep your screens smudge free, the Yoga Book 9i ships with a detachable keyboard, a mouse, and a Gen-3 Digital Pen. With these surprisingly premium accessories, I didn’t miss the traditional laptop experience at all.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is a great machine. It delivers multiple monitors on the go, and it does so with a smart, thoughtful design. Lenovo has nailed the execution of what a machine like this can be with current hardware. I took this laptop on a trip and loved being able to set up multiple monitors at any table I could find. The screens are beautiful, and the total package is very flexible. The price is very reasonable at $1,999, too – yes, it’s more expensive than the average laptop, but you’re getting twice as many OLED displays. This laptop nails the execution of what a laptop with this form factor can be. It isn’t for everyone: Some people will want thicker workstations or gaming laptops that can deliver higher performance under load. Many people will prefer a classic clamshell laptop design where the bottom of the laptop is a physical keyboard you don’t have to attach.

I really dig the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i. I love how futuristic the dual-screen design is, and I appreciate the upgrades Lenovo has made to performance and software stability. That being said, the Yoga Book 9i starts at $2,000, which is a lot of money. For the same price, you can get a lot of "boring" laptops with single displays that offer better performance, battery life, and portability. Dell's XPS 14, Apple's 14-inch MacBook Pro, and Lenovo's own Yoga 9i are just some examples., so you have to ask yourself whether you need two separate screens or if you can get by with one and take advantage of better performance and battery life. If none of that matters to you and you're cool with living with the Yoga Book 9i's quirky design, I say go for it. It's an immensely helpful tool to have in your arsenal, and it pushes the boundaries of what it means to be a laptop just enough that it doesn't lose touch with its functionality.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 9th Gen (2024) takes what the 2023 version introduced and rearranges things to remain a compelling choice for those looking for something out of the ordinary. After all, its only competitor in the dual-touchscreen laptop game is the aforementioned ASUS ZenBook Duo. The ASUS unit does offer a full-size Bluetooth keyboard with trackpad, HDMI port and a built-in kickstand, a pair of 14-inch touchscreens (compared to the Yoga Book's 13-inch units), and a more powerful Intel Ultra Core 9 processor, all for a starting price of $1,499.99. Meanwhile, the Yoga Book 9i 9th Gen (2024) starts at $1,980 with Windows 11 Home, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and no productivity software installed. It's quite the pricey proposition, for sure, especially with the ZenBook Duo right there for around $500 with more versatility.

Intel Graphics 4-Core: Integrerat grafikkort baserat på Xe LPG-arkitekturen (liknar de dedikerade Arc GPU:erna, men med fokus på effektivitet). Har 4 Xe-kärnor (64 Xe-vektormotorer) och 4 strålspårningsenheter.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
