Med Summit E16 Flip erbjuder MSI en bärbar 2-i-1-dator vars utmärkande egenskap är kombinationen av en 16-tums pekskärm i 16:10-format och en GPU i mellanklass. Hölje och utrustning - MSI Flip erbjuder Thunderbolt 4

E16:s smala, svarta metallhölje visar inga brister i tillverkningen. Vi hittar inga överdrivna luckor eller materialutsprång. Även om locket och basenheten kan vara något skeva håller sig detta inom ramarna. De släta, matta ytorna på fodralet är något benägna att visa fingeravtryck. Batteriet, som är fastskruvat i stället för fastlimmat, liksom resten av insidan är åtkomliga efter att man enkelt tagit bort fodralets botten

E16 innehåller två USB-A-anslutningar (USB 3.2 Gen 2) och två USB-C-anslutningar (Thunderbolt 4; Power Delivery, Displayport). Den 16-tums bärbara datorn erbjuder totalt tre videoutgångar (2x DP, 1x HDMI). MicroSD-lagringskortläsaren tillhör de snabbare representanterna i sitt slag (med hjälp av vårt referenslagringskort AV PRO SD 128 GB V60). Den inbyggda webbkameran (2,1 MP, IR, max. 1920 x 1080 pixlar) har inget mekaniskt skydd. Istället finns det en på/av-knapp på väskans vänstra sida

De WLAN-överföringshastigheter som vi fastställer under optimala förhållanden (utan ytterligare WLAN-enheter i närheten och med den bärbara datorn och serverdatorn i nära anslutning till varandra) visar sig vara utmärkta och motsvarar WiFi-chipets kapacitet (Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i; 802.11 ax).

Inmatningsenheter - Summit 16 har en inmatningspenna

De platta, släta tangenterna på chiclet-tangentbordet (trestegsbelysning) har en kort slaglängd och en tydlig tryckpunkt. Vi gillar deras motståndskraft. När du skriver har tangentbordet högst en minimal eftergift, så det skapade inget irritationsmoment. Sammantaget levererar MSI här ett tangentbord som är lämpligt för vardagliga uppgifter.

Den släta ytan på den multitouch-kapabla ClickPad (~13 x 8,2 cm, ~5,1 x 3,2 tum) underlättar glidning av fingrarna. ClickPad reagerar också på inmatningar i hörnen. Den har ett kort slag och en tydlig tryckpunkt.

Pekskärmen (10 pekpunkter) kan användas med fingrarna eller med den medföljande MSI-inmatningspennan (1P 14; MPP 2.0). Den senare känns bra i handen och pennspetsen glider lätt över skärmen. Pennan kan fästas magnetiskt på basenhetens vänstra sida. Det integrerade batteriet laddas via den medföljande USB-A-till-USB-C-kabeln. Ytterligare pennspetsar ingår också.

Vid leverans visar skärmen färgerna mycket exakt. Med ett värde på 3,08 missar färgavvikelsen knappt målet DeltaE < 3. En kalibrering sänker avvikelsen till 0,88 och säkerställer en mer balanserad visning av gråskalan. Färgrymden sRGB återges helt och hållet, DCI P3-färgrymden nästan helt och Adobe RGB-färgrymden till 87 %.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

IPS-panelens betraktningsvinklar är stabila och den kan läsas från vilken position som helst. Utomhus gör den reflekterande skärmytan det svårt att läsa av skärmen.

Testvillkor

Med den förinstallerade MSI Center Pro-programvaran (se bilder) och F7-tangenten kan du växla mellan fyra strömprofiler (High Performance, Balanced, Silent Mode, Super Battery) för den bärbara datorn. När du använder den överordnade, AI-baserade funktionen"Smart Auto", som i vårt fall, väljer MSI Center automatiskt den profil som passar scenariot. Profilerna påverkar endast CPU-prestanda och inte GPU-prestanda.

Processor

Alder LakeCore-i7-1280Pprocessorn består av 6 prestandakärnor (hyperthreading, 2,4-4,8 GHz) och 8 effektivitetskärnor (ingen hyperthreading, 1,8-3,7 GHz), vilket ger totalt 20 logiska CPU-kärnor.

Processorn körs genom multitrådstestet i riktmärket Cinebench R15 med klockfrekvenser i det medelstora Turbo-området (P: 3,3 - 3,4 GHz, E: 2,8 - 2,9 GHz). I testet med en tråd används den fulla Turbo-klockfrekvensen (P: 3,5 - 4,8 GHz, E: 400 MHz - 3,5 GHz). Vid batteridrift är klockfrekvenserna minimalt lägre. Vi använder profilen "High Performance" här. Vid användning av de andra tre strömprofilerna är klockfrekvenserna delvis betydligt lägre

Medan CB15-slingtestet bekräftar konstant användning av CPU Turbo-hastigheten, sjunker klockfrekvensen något efter den tredje körningen.

Utsläpp och energihantering - Den bärbara 2-i-1-datorn blir mycket högljudd under belastning

Bullerutsläpp

I vardaglig drift (kontor, internet) producerar de två fläktarna inte överdrivet mycket buller och kan till och med vara tysta ibland. Vid medelhög och hög belastning blir de dock ganska högljudda med en maximal ljudnivå på 49,3 dB(A) eller 48,2 dB(A) under stresstestet.

För tystare drift erbjuder den bärbara datorn profilerna "Silent Mode" och "Super Battery", men detta sker på bekostnad av datorprestanda. "Super Battery"-batteriet garanterar den lägsta ljudnivån men ger också den lägsta prestandanivån.

Summit E16 Flip är en bärbar 2-i-1-dator från affärssegmentet som främst riktar sig till kreativa användare. MSI kombinerar en 16-tums pekskärm i 16:10-format med en kraftfull GPU i mellanklass.

Även om den bärbara 2-i-1-laptopen från MSI inte är avsedd för alla, bör den definitivt locka några anhängare.

Core i7-1280Poch GeForce RTX 3050 Tikan köras konstant vid höga klockfrekvenser. GPU-prestandan når nästan upp till medelvärdet för RTX 3050 Ti-grafik. Även om den bärbara datorn inte blir överdrivet varm under belastning kan den bli ganska högljudd. I vardaglig drift förblir det dock tystare.

Pekskärmsdisplayen (2 560 x 1 600 pixlar) täcker DCI-P3-färgrymden. Detta åtföljs av stabila betraktningsvinklar, en bra färgåtergivning, korta svarstider och en bra kontrastnivå. Tyvärr har panelen en reflekterande yta. Dessutom kunde den maximala ljusstyrkan ha varit högre. Pekskärmen kan manövreras med fingrarna såväl som med den medföljande MSI-inmatningspennan.

Trots sin storlek kan vi intyga att enheten har en viss rörlighet. Hela paketet för med sig cirka 1,9 kg på vågen. E16 lyckas få en WLAN-drifttid på cirka 7 timmar från sitt 82-Wh-batteri, vilket är ett ganska bra värde med tanke på hårdvaruutrustningen.

Vår databas innehåller ingen direkt konkurrent till E16. Det som kanske kommer närmast i den här kategorin är följande Dell Inspiron 16 7620 2-i-1, som som kan fås som tillval med ettGeForce MX550grafikkärna.
