Qualcomm SD 732G

Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (SD732G Mobile Platform) är en snabb ARM-baserad SoC från mittenskiktet som i huvudsak återfinns på Android-baserade smartphones och surfplattor. Den innehåller åtta kärnor (åttakärnig) uppdelade i två kluster. Ett snabbt prestandakluster som består av två ARM Cortex A76-kärnor med en klockfrekvens på upp till 2.3 GHz samt ett energieffektivt kluster med sex små ARM Cortex A55-kärnor med en klockfrekvens på upp till 1.8 GHz. Beroende på arbetsbelastning kan endast ett kluster eller alla kärnorna köras i olika klockfrekvenser. Jämfört med 730H har 732H 100 MHz högre A76 CPU-klockfrekvens.

Jämfört med vanliga Snapdragon 730 är 732G optimerad för spel. Detta innebär att grafikkortet har en högre klockfrekvens (även jämfört med 730G, Qualcomm anger 15% högre prestanda) samt att chippet har optimerad WiFi. GPU:n har dessutom stöd för högre upplösningar. Vidare kan chippet spela in video i 720p i upp till 960 FPS.

Chippet innehåller ett flertal funktioner som ett snabbt X15 LTE-modem (800 Mbits Cat 15 nerladdning, 150 Mbps Cat 13 uppladdning), ett av de första WiFi 6-modemen (802.11ax), satellitpositionering (GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, SBAS, Beidou, Galileo), USB-C 3.1, Spectra 350 ISP, Hexagon 688 DSP, H.265 4K30 videokodning/avkodning, en LPDDR4X-3733 minneskontrollenhet med stöd för dubbla kanaler samt ett Adreno 618 grafikkort.

Snapdragon 732G tillverkas i en modern 8 nm-process av Samsung.
