Qualcomm SD X Elite X1E-84-100

Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite är en mobil processor för bärbara datorer som introducerades i slutet av 2023. För första gången integrerar den Oryon CPU-kärnor från Nuvia. CPU-delen använder 12 kärnor med en klockfrekvens på upp till 4,3 GHz (maximalt två kärnor, övriga upp till 3,8 GHz) som använder ARM v8.7-instruktionsuppsättningen. CPU-prestandan beror i hög grad på vilken TDP som används. Detta kan ställas in från 12 watt (utan fläkt) till 80 watt (45 watt typiskt enligt Qualcomm).

CPU-kärnornas prestanda verkar vara utmärkt med anpassad programvara. Single-core-prestandan i Cinebench 2024 kan hålla jämna steg med eller till och med överträffa de snabbaste kärnorna från Apple och Intel. Under Windows har dock CPU:n alltid en nackdel med icke-anpassad programvara, eftersom denna måste emuleras. Spel är särskilt drabbade här, eftersom de ofta inte körs ordentligt.

Förutom CPU-delen integrerar X Elite en kraftfull Hexagon NPU för AI-acceleration.

Det integrerade Adreno-grafikkort är något äldre och stöder ännu inte strålspårning (i smarttelefonen stöds redan i den äldre Snapdragon 8 Gen 2).

Trots bristen på effektivitetskärnor sägs Snapdragon X Elite vara mycket effektiv, enligt Qualcomm. Chipet tillverkas i den nuvarande 4nm-processen hos TSMC.
