The realme C75 offers a new approach to durability at an affordable price. It features a 6.72-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G92 Max processor, with 8GB of RAM (expandable) and up to 256GB of storage. The 50MP main camera performs well in good lighting, and the 8MP front camera takes decent selfies. The device is water- and dust-resistant (IP68, IP69K) and has a military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability certification. The 5828 mAh battery lasts for two days of use. The design is simple yet elegant, especially in the yellow color, which subtly shifts in the light. The device weighs 196g and is fairly comfortable to use, though it’s difficult to operate with one hand due to the screen size.

The realme C75 stands out as a budget phone on account of its exceptional durability, large battery and modest RM699 price point. If you can live with the middling camera setup, 4G connectivity and relatively short 2 years of OS and security updates, this makes for an ideal as a starter phone for younger users and those who simply need something sufficiently capable to handle modern tasks like calling a Grab, getting about with Waze and the like. The realme C75 is ideal for the butter- fingered user on a tight budget as it offers exceptional durability as well as acceptable performance for its sub-RM700 price point with the bundled free casing and charger adding substantially to its value.

The realme C75 might not be an exciting phone for most of us, but it is no doubt a great choice for people that require ruggedness on a smartphone without spending too much of their paycheck, which compared to actual rugged smartphones, this phone at least looks sleek and comes with a polished software that you will be confident of using every day, it ultimately depends on how much you care about water and drop resistance on your phone, because if you have RM699 to spend on a new smartphone, there are just too many choices out there.
