Väl avrundad.

Nitro 5 sticker ut med fantastisk spelprestanda och relativt låga temperaturer. Den bärbara datorn har plats för två PCIe-4 SSD-diskar och har en USB 4-port.

Acers Nitro 5-serie består av spelutrustning på instegs- och mellanklassnivå. De bärbara datorerna är placerade under Predator-serien, med priser som når upp till 2 500 euro. Dagens testenhet finns tillgänglig från och med 1 750 euro. Acer har kombinerat en energieffektiv Ryzen 7-6800H APU med en GeForce RTX 3070-Ti GPU (TGP på 150 watt) för den här modellen. Den matta 15,6-tumsskärmens (1 920 x 1 080 pixlar) ljusstyrka på 320,2 cd/m² uppfyller våra minimikrav (> 300 cd/m²). Kontrastförhållandet på 1 363:1 är mer än tillräckligt och slår lätt konkurrenterna. Panelen med 165 Hz har korta svarstider och använder inte PWM vid någon ljusstyrka.

Skärmen har stöd för AMD:s FreeSync-teknik. Denna matchar dynamiskt skärmens uppdateringsfrekvens med GPU:n. Syftet är att skapa en så jämn bild som möjligt - särskilt i datorspel.

Skärmen visar färgerna ganska bra. Vi uppmätte en färgavvikelse på 3,26, vilket bara ligger strax över idealvärdet (DeltaE < 3). Kalibrering av skärmen minskar avvikelsen till 0,87 och får gråskalorna att verka jämnare. Panelen kan visa nästan hela sRGB-färgrymden (98,1 %) och täcker 70 % av AdobeRGB och 69 % av DCI-P3. Systermodellens QHD-panel uppnår en bättre övergripande färgområdestäckning.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Föreställning - Nitro notebook med Ampere och Rembrandt

Acer Nitro 5 AN515 - en bärbar 15,6-tums gamingdator - finns i en mängd olika konfigurationer och kan utrustas med antingen en Intel- eller AMD-processor. Ingångskonfigurationen är för närvarande tillgänglig för cirka 800 euro (Core i5-11400H, RTX 3050, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, inget Windows). Den dyraste modellen (Ryzen 9 6900HX, RTX 3070 Ti, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD) har en prislapp på 2 400 euro.

Provningsförhållanden

Den förinstallerade NitroSense-programvaran (den bärbara datorns kontrollcenter, se bilderna) kan användas för att växla mellan de prestandaprofiler som tillverkaren har ställt in ("prestanda", "standard" och "tyst"). Vi utförde alla våra tester med profilen "standard" och med fläktkontrollen inställd på automatisk. CPU-prestandan är densamma i alla prestandaprofiler; GPU-prestandan varierar något.

Processor

Processordelen i Ryzen 7 6800H APU (Rembrandt) består av en oktakärnig processor med en basklocka på 3,2 GHz. Klockfrekvensen kan öka upp till 4,75 GHz tack vare turbo. Chippet har stöd för samtidig multitrådning (arbetar två trådar per kärna). Resultaten från CPU-benchmarks är desamma i alla tre prestandaprofilerna.

Cinebench R15 multitrådstestet resulterade i klockfrekvenser mellan 4 och 4,2 GHz. Entrådstestet genomfördes med 2 till 4,75 GHz. På batteriet klockade processorn med 2,5 GHz (multitråd) och 1,2 till 2,5 GHz (enkeltråd). CB15 loop benchmark bekräftade att CPU turbo kan användas kontinuerligt.

Processorn erbjuder en bra prestanda överlag. Den hamnar dock bakom Intel Alder Lake CPU:er emellanåt, särskilt när de kan dra nytta av sina extra CPU-kärnor.

Lagringsenhet

Acer har gett GeForce RTX 3070 Ti (VRAM:8 192 MB GDDR6) en maximal TGP på 150 watt (125 watt + 25 watt Dynamic Boost). 3DMark-resultaten ligger över det genomsnitt som hittills uppmätts för RTX 3070 Ti GPU:er. Skillnaderna mellan prestandaprofilerna är minimala (se Fire Strike skärmdumpar). Enheten använder sig av Dynamic Boost, vilket kan ses i vårt test Witcher 3.

Grafikprestandan kan förbättras något genom att ställa in direkt bildutgång från GeForce GPU:n. Denna omkoppling kan göras i BIOS eller via NitroSense-programvaran (klicka på symbolen för inställningar). Acer använder MUX Switch och enheten har inte stöd för Advanced Optimus.

Bullerutsläpp

Vid daglig användning (kontor, internet) och vid tomgångskörning är de två fläktarna tillräckligt tysta och kan till och med sluta gå ibland. De är dock något oförutsägbara och ljudnivån kan öka upp till 44,3 dB(A). Under belastning uppmätte vi maximalt 53,6 dB(A), vilket är ganska högt.

Fläkthastigheten kan sänkas med hjälp av enhetens NitroSense-programvara, men fläktkurvan kan inte justeras. Bullerutvecklingen är mycket likartad i profilerna "tyst" och "standard".

Stresstestet (Prime95 och FurMark aktiveras kontinuerligt) är ett extremt scenario som gör det möjligt att undersöka systemets stabilitet vid maximal belastning. Processorn (4,2 till 4,3 GHz) och GPU:n (1 000 till 1 600 MHz) börjar testet med höga klockfrekvenser. Nitro 5 är gjord för FHD-spel vid maximala inställningar - tack vare enRyzen 7-6800HaPU och enGeForce RTX 3070-Ti bärbar datorgPU (TGP: 150 W). Den snabba PCIe-4 SSD (1 TB) ger det nödvändiga lagringsutrymmet och garanterar korta laddningstider.

Acers Nitro 5 AN515-46 är en snabb laptop för spel i FHD som inte uppvisar några allvarliga svagheter.

Processorn och GPU:n kan ge konsekvent höga klockfrekvenser. Enheten värms bara måttligt upp under belastning. Dessvärre är dess ljudutsläpp inte bättre än vanligt: Nitro 5 kan vara ganska högljudd. Den matta 15,6-tums panelen (FHD, IPS, 165 Hz) gav oss ett bra intryck.

Den bärbara datorns batteritid är hyfsad men inget utöver det vanliga. Batteriet kan laddas med en universell USB-C-växelströmsadapter (min. 65 watt, 20 V) eftersom USB 4-porten stöder Power Delivery (och DisplayPort). Detta innebär att användarna inte nödvändigtvis behöver bära med sig det tunga 280-W nätaggregatet.

Vilken Nitro 5-modell är det bättre valet? Det beror på dina behov. AMD-versionen har DDR5-minne, låga energiförbrukningsvärden och en bättre batteritid. Den värms också upp mindre. Intel-modellenerbjuder högre CPU-prestanda med en enda tråd, Thunderbolt 4 och en bättre skärm. Men kom ihåg: båda Nitro-versionerna finns tillgängliga med antingen en FHD- eller QHD-panel

Några alternativ till Nitro är t.ex.Schenker XMG Fusion 15 (Mid 22)ochAsus TUF Dash F15. Båda enheterna erbjuder en lägre GPU-prestanda och värms upp märkbart under belastning. Å andra sidan är de mer kompakta, väger mindre och har en längre batteritid. Fusion erbjuder den överlägset längsta drifttiden.
