Omdöme - Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 har mer uthållighet tack vare Lunar Lake
Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 är fortfarande en slimmad och högkvalitativ 16-tums konvertibel i sin femte generation. Även om den nya Intel Lunar Lake-processorn inte ger mycket mer prestanda än tidigare, kan användarna ändå dra nytta av mindre fläktaktivitet och märkbart längre batteritid. Som en Copilot+ PC har den dessutom stöd för de avancerade Windows AI-funktionerna. En annan uppgradering är dess Wi-Fi 7-modul.
Dess hölje är oförändrat, så den har fortfarande samma höga kvalitet som tidigare. Det finns tillräckligt med portar och både AMOLED-panelen och högtalarna är utmärkta. Den bärbara datorns tangentbord lider något av sin låga rörelse, men pekskärmen och den medföljande S-Pen fungerar mycket bra.
De största nackdelarna är dess icke-utökningsbara RAM-minne och det höga priset. Drygt 1 800 USD för en Core Ultra 5, 16 GB RAM och en 512 GB SSD är verkligen inget fynd. Den nya HP Spectre x360 med en Meteor Lake-processor är fortfarande ett mycket bra alternativ, särskilt om du också är på jakt efter ett bättre tangentbord. Prestandan hos dess AMD-processor är dessutom högre, medan batteritiden är kortare.

Samsung har uppdaterat sin stora 16-tums konvertibla dator och utrustar nu den nya Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 med en ny Lunar Lake-processor från Intel. Detta bör resultera i fördelar när det gäller såväl effektivitet som batteriprestanda i synnerhet. Dessutom är den nu officiellt en Copilot+ PC med avancerade AI-funktioner. Skillnader jämfört med Galaxy Book4 Pro 360
Jämfört med Galaxy Book4 Pro 360har ingenting förändrats när det gäller hölje och anslutningsmöjligheter, vilket innebär att du fortfarande får en högkvalitativ 16-tums konvertibel med en supertunn tjocklek på endast 12,8 mm. Dess mörkgrå metallytor drar inte till sig så många fingeravtrycksmärken och ur ett kvalitetsperspektiv har vi inget att klaga på. Endast den breda nedre delen av ramen som omger skärmen känns lite malplacerad och leder till att fodralet är relativt djupt. Bottenlocket är enkelt att ta bort (skruvarna är gömda under gummifötterna) och du kommer åt fläktarna, batteriet och M.2 2280 SSD. Alla andra komponenter är å andra sidan fastlödda.
Förutom en ny processor har även WLAN-modulen uppdaterats - den nya BE201-modulen från Intel har stöd för Wi-Fi 7 och Bluetooth 5.4. Dess 1080p-webbkamera stöder de avancerade Studio-funktionerna, men dess bildkvalitet är tyvärr bara genomsnittlig.
Precis som med den gamla modellen lider tangentbordet lite av sin korta tangentrörelse och det finns bättre inmatningsalternativ att erbjuda från konkurrenterna, till exempel HP Envy x360. Dess stora klickplatta har nu förbättrad handflateavvisning, även om vi inte hade några problem med detta på den gamla modellen heller.

Skärm - AMOLED vid 120 Hz
Den senaste Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 är utrustad med exakt samma AMOLED-panel som sin föregångare (ATNA60CL09-0), vilket är anledningen till att vi rekommenderar att du läser vår recension av Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 för mer detaljerad information. Subjektivt sett har AMOLED-pekskärmen en utmärkt bildkvalitet med rika färger och ett extremt högt kontrastförhållande. Dess svarstider är supersnabba och rörelser ser väldigt flytande ut tack vare dess 120 Hz uppdateringsfrekvens. PWM på 240 Hz används dock på alla ljusstyrkenivåer. Samsung tillhandahåller olika färgprofiler och det finns även ett sRGB-läge (P3 & sRGB är helt täckt).
Prestanda - Intel Lunar Lake och snabbare RAM
Testförhållanden
Precis som med sin föregångare erbjuder Samsung olika prestandalägen i appen Inställningar(High Performance, Optimized, Quiet, Silent), men dessa är nu länkade till Windows-inställningarna. Detta var inte fallet tidigare, men är nu mer bekvämt för användaren. Vi använde Windows Best Performance-profilen för följande benchmarks och mätningar, som nu automatiskt väljer Samsungs High Performance -läge.
Processor
Samsung har valt den nya Intel Core Ultra 5 226V från Lunar Lake-generationen, som främst är utformad för effektivitet. Den har fyra snabba prestandakärnor och fyra effektivitetskärnor, varigenom chippet kan förbruka upp till 37 watt totalt. Detta placerar den långt under de gamla Meteor Lake-processorerna som t.ex Core Ultra 5 125H från föregångaren. I prestandaläget förbrukade processorn initialt hela 37 watt för att sedan jämna ut sig på 30 watt (64/30 watt i föregångarmodellen), vilket är anledningen till att dess flerkärniga prestanda förblev mycket stabil överlag. Det måste dock också sägas att dess flerkärniga prestanda bara låg strax över den gamla Core Ultra 5 125H och inte kunde hålla jämna steg med AMD-processorerna. Överlag är dock prestandan tillräcklig för de flesta vardagliga uppgifter. Prestandan minskar inte i batteriläge. Ytterligare CPU-benchmarks finns tillgängliga i vår teknikavdelning.

PCIe 4.0 SSD: s överföringshastigheter är anständiga och det bör inte finnas några begränsningar under daglig användning - dessutom förblir dess prestanda konstant även under långvarig belastning. Core Ultra 5 226V är utrustad med integrerad Arc Graphics 130V med 7 Xe2-kärnor, som når en maximal klockfrekvens på 1 850 MHz. Allt som allt kom 130V strax före den gamla Arc Graphics från Meteor Lake-generationen i riktmärkena. IGPU:n är helt lämplig för vardagliga multimediaapplikationer, inklusive uppspelning av högupplösta videor - men den når snabbt sina gränser när det gäller spel. Bullerutsläpp
Enhetens kylning drar nytta av dess lägre kortsiktiga effektgräns. Även om den maximala fläktvolymen som vi noterade under hög belastning är jämförbar med den gamla modellen, startar fläktarna märkbart senare under vardaglig användning än vad som var fallet med Galaxy Book4 Pro 360. Med Quiet-läget aktiverat kan du minska fläktljudet avsevärt även under belastning (~26 dB(A)). Vi hörde inte några andra elektroniska ljud under testperioden.

Temperatur
Chassit värms inte upp märkbart på tomgång och under daglig användning, men vi uppmätte 45 °C på undersidan i det bakre mittområdet under belastning. Trots detta kan du fortfarande placera enheten på låren och tangentbordet förblir betydligt svalare överlag. Under stresstestet fluktuerade processorns förbrukning mellan 25-30 watt och var därför totalt sett något högre än den gamla modellen (~24 watt).

Strömförbrukning
Dess tomgångsförbrukning är något högre än på den gamla modellen och under stresstestet nådde den kortvarigt ett maximum på 64 watt. I de andra scenarierna förbrukade den nya Lunar Lake-modellen å andra sidan lite mindre ström. Strömförsörjningen på 65 watt är tillräckligt stor.

Batterikapaciteten är fortfarande 76 Wh, men drifttiden har förbättrats. Det aktiva signalläget ligger kvar på 120 Hz och kan inte ändras. Under WLAN-testet vid 150 cd/m² (motsvarar 67% av vår testenhets maximala SDR-ljusstyrka) uppmätte vi nu 10:46 timmar, vilket är nästan tre timmar mer än föregångaren. Vid full ljusstyrka noterade vi strax under 8 timmar och i videotestet klarade den till och med 19:41 timmar och därmed 5 timmar mer än tidigare.

Notebookcheck totalt betyg
Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 är fortfarande en 16-tums konvertibel av superhög kvalitet med en imponerande AMOLED-panel och bra högtalare, men det har ett pris. Den nya Lunar Lake-processorn gör sig särskilt känd under vardagsanvändning tack vare mindre fläktaktivitet och betydligt bättre batteritider, men den övergripande prestandanivån är relativt låg.
