Allra trevligast inledningsvis tycker jag prestandan är. Det är en sak att telefonen inte har några fördröjningar i gränssnittet när man använder den, att den svarar direkt, men här är prestandan så bra att jag verkligen reagerar på hur snabbt allt går. En hel del i Sonys mjukvara talar också för att telefonen ska fortsätta att vara alert även på lång sikt, tack vare artificiell intelligens, men det återkommer vi till.

Video performance is also competent, but marred by problems with loss of detail and mediocre stabilization. The stacked sensor does allow the XZ Premium to support a novel 960 fps slow-motion mode, but even at 19MP, it doesn’t produce overall better images or video than many other phones with lower or similar-resolution sensors.

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
