Acer Aspire 7 A715 är en multimedia-laptop med bra systemprestanda som bemästrar vardagligt arbete. Utöver det är den också lämplig som en billig spellaptop, då dess Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 har tillräckliga reserver. Kombinationen av SSD och konventionell hårddisk är också lämplig och kombinerar hastighet och massor av utrymme. Tillsammans med 8 GB DDR4 RAM och en Full HD IPS-skärm tar Acer 8 900 SEK (899 Euro) för enheten.
Som ett mångsidigt paket utan några orosmoment borde Acer Aspire 7 A715 övertyga en del köpare, då det även går att spela en del mer krävande spel smidigt med dess Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050.
Man ser omedelbart att detta är en Acer-laptop. Modellerna i Aspire-serien är väldigt lika varandra och det finns knappt några unika drag. Eftersom hantverket inte är på den nivå vi förväntat så passade höljet på vår testenhetet inte alls konceptet, vilket i huvudsak är bra. Men knarrande ljud, ett skärmlock som kan råka vridas och dom skarpa kanterna går inte att bortse från. Skärmens resultat gör en också besviken. Betraktningsvinklarna hos den inbyggda IPS-skärmen är stabila, den har en matt yta och DeltaE-2000 avvikelserna är väldigt låga. Men det är allt i fråga om positiva egenskaper. Färgrymds-täckningen och skärmens ljusstyrka är båda för låga. Anslutningarna är bra men inte framtidssäkrade. Att Acer inkluderar en USB-3.1 Typ-C anslutning är lovvärt . Men tillverkaren borde ha struntat i Gen-1 porten och använt en Gen-2 port istället.
