I våra tester visar Aorus 17 YA sitt sanna jag: en spellaptop för passionerade gamers. Hårdvaran kan utan problem visa aktuella spel smidigt på Full HD-skärmen och prestandareserven förbereder dessutom datorn för framtiden. Processorn kan använda sin fulla prestanda och grafikkortet har knappt några begränsningar alls. Det går att justera datorns beteende i detalj i Control Center, vilket säkrar hög flexibilitet. Dessutom har den bra servicemöjligheter, en skärm som är välkalibrerad redan vid leverans och rikligt med anslutningsmöjligheter.
Tack vare bra kylning kan Aorus 17 YA använda hårdvarans fulla potential. Men fläktens ljudnivå ligger verkligen på gränsen.
Ett kraftfullt kylsystem möjliggör förstklassig prestanda, men det leder också till det största klagomålet vi har på Aorus 17 YA. Även om man kan förvänta sig hög energiförbrukning från en dator med den här utrustningen så är fläktarnas ljudnivå något helt annat, till och med för en spelenhet. Vill man ha fullständig prestanda får man helt enkelt vara nöjd med att bära hörlurar och den kommer ändå irritera eventuella andra gamers som befinner sig i samma rum. Bortsett från det får man en spellaptop av riktigt hög kvalitet som till och med har ett mekaniskt tangentbord.
