Aorus X5 V7 är en bra spelmaskin som har förbättrats avsevärt sen sin föregångare, V6. Den bra 4K-skärmen, dom många portarna inklusive Thunderbolt 3, makroknapparna och Aorus verktyg för överklockning och snabba ändringar av viktiga inställningar är utmärkta tillägg.
Men, det finns några små brister som inkluderar hög energiförbrukning och låg batteritid. Potentiella köpare får själva bestämma om flyttbarhet eller energiförbrukning är viktigt för dom. Temperaturhanteringen kunde också varit bättre, trots det förbättrade kylsystemet - särskilt runt WASD-knapparna, som är så viktiga för gamers.
Aorus X5 V7 kommer göra dom flesta gamers glada då den erbjuder kraftfull hårdvara och bra spelprestanda. Men dess tunna hölje låtsas bara erbjuda hög mobilitet, för hög energiförbrukning och kort batteritid säger något annat.
Allt som allt, Aorus är fortfarande en välgjord spellaptop och det går att se att utvecklare och designers har ansträngt sig för att skapa en så bra dator som möjligt. Men den nya Aorus är inte billig och kostar runt ~22 200 SEK ($2700). Detta gör den till den dyraste enheten bland alla vi jämfört med. Dess poäng sätter den dock inte på toppen. Jämförbara enheter finns tillgängliga från ~20 500 SEK ($2500) men då får du ge avkall på 4K-skärmen. Intresserade köpare får själva välja om skärm och andra funktioner är värda det högre priset.
