AORUS X7 DT v6 är en av de mest kraftfulla bärbara speldatorer vi testat hittills här på Notebookcheck och är dessutom betydligt lättare än de flesta av konkurrenterna. Tack vare GPU-kraften från ett Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080, en Core i7-6820HK med olåst multiplikator – och inte minst Gigabytes utmärkta systemprogramvara – kan AORUS X7 DT v6 enkelt överklockas från start. I kombination med sin effektiva (och innovativa) kylning toppar maskinen praktiskt taget alla prestandatester.
Datorn åstadkommer allt detta med en vikt på endast 3,25 kg och ett elegant magnesiumchassi som bara är 30 mm tjockt. X7 kan bokstavligen hantera alla spel, förmodligen med maxade inställningar och en upplösning på 1440p.
Skärmen är för övrigt också en höjdpunkt på många sätt; trots att det är bara en TN-panel har den snabba svarstider och en uppdateringsfrekvens på 120 Hz som drar maximal nytta av det snabba grafikkortet. Den enda invändningen, som visserligen kan vara viktig för många, är att det förekommer synliga horisontella linjer på panelen p.g.a. skärmtekniken. Detta märks visserligen bara på statiska bilder och inte under rörelse (oavsett om det handlar om film eller spel).
Inmatningsenheterna är också mycket bra, chassit är välbyggt och helheten känns som en påtaglig uppgradering jämfört med tidigare modeller i AORUS-serien. Bristerna är relativt få till antalet. Högtalarna är en besvikelse, men låter bättre efter lite mixtrande med inställningarna.
Datorn är också som väntat ganska högljudd under belastning, men användaren har direkt kontroll över oljud/prestanda tack vare Gigabytes ”Command & Control”-mjukvara. Slutligen är batteritiden ganska dålig tack vare den höga strömförbrukningen av avsaknaden av växlingsbar grafik – men om någon mot förmodan funderat på en X7 för att få bra batteritid måste vi föreslå en omvärdering av prioriteringarna.
Kort sagt är det här en av de bästa bärbara speldatorer vi har testat hittills. Om du kan och vill bränna ett stort hål i plånboken kommer du inte att bli besviken.
