Även om Apple iPad Air (2019) placerar sig själv mellan iPad Pro 11 och iPad (2018) så konkurrerar den i fråga om pris mer med aktuella Android-surfplattor från toppskiktet. Till skillnad från instegsmodellen iPad så har den en större och helt laminerad skärm, mer lagring och en kraftigare SoC, vilket kommer med ett ökat pris på 2.000 kronor.
I fråga om teknik så levererar Apple återigen en bra surfplatta som inte har några egentliga fel och som använder teknik som visat sitt värde under tidigare år. Men det blir nu som användare lite svårare att få en översikt över modellerna, något som försvåras ytterligare av att det finns flera generationer av Pencil samtidigt.
Apple iPad Air (2019) kombinerar en modern SoC med beprövad teknik.
Våra största klagomål rör att Apple har varit sparsamma när det kommer till inkluderade tillbehör, att ytterligare tillbehör är dyra och att det tar lång tid att ladda den. Men detta spelar knappast någon roll vid användning till vardags. Med ett lågt instegspris, Touch ID och sin ljudport är iPad Air fortfarande en tilltalande produkt.
