Omdöme – Retro-diva som blickar mot framtiden
Apple iPhone 12 Pro har ett nytt designspråk som påminner om gårddagens iPhone 4 och iPhone 5-serier, vilket troligen kommer göra en del fans nöjda. Det är trots allt en tjusig smartphone. Tack vare mer skärm i förhållande till kroppen har den bara växt en aning trots att den inrymmer en skärm på 6.1 tum, vilket gör den jämförelsevis kompakt.
Tack vare sin arkitektur är Apples nya SoC ett stort steg framåt. Den är inte bara mer effektiv än innan utan har också högre prestanda, särskilt för maskin-inlärning. Kameran har förbättrats ytterligare även om den mer ljuskänsliga sensorn bara finns på Pro Max-modellen.
iPhone 12 Pro presterade för det mesta väldigt bra och är en sann lyxprodukt med ett väletablerat och moget ekosystem.
Apples sätt att hantera tillbehör känns logiskt och är ett bra steg mot en mer hållbar framtid. Däremot har Apple misslyckats med att kommunicera detta ordentligt och faktum att du kan behöva köpa extra tillbehör är svårsmält.
Den nya MagSafe-tekniken kan användas till många olika saker och vi ser redan att tredjepartstillverkare utnyttjar detta och skapar sina egna roliga tillbehör. 5G-stöd har behövts länge; men det är för en del marknader helt absurt att den saknar stöd för mmWave.
Apple behöver också förbättra ljudet, i synnerhet är det ovärdigt att en toppskikts-smartphone saknar stöd för högupplöst ljud över Bluetooth.
