För ett jämförelsevis lågt pris ger Asus ZenBook 14 UM431DA köparen en väldesignad laptop som är lätt att bära med sig. Höljet ser högkvalitativt ut och olika dekorativa element ger datorn ett intryck av att vara dyrare än den är. Utöver detta har den ett inbyggt numeriskt tangentbord, som visade sig vara ett bra tillägg till tangentbordet. Den har också en gedigen uppsättning portar och även om WiFi 5 inte är ett stort steg framåt är de trådlösa anslutningarna fortfarande snabba och uppdaterade.
ZenBook 14 är en gedigen laptop med en tilltalande design. Tyvärr är den lite återhållsam när det kommer till att utnyttja processorns kapacitet.
Men intresserade köpare bör inte begränsa sig till modellen med Ryzen 7 3700U utan kan lungt välja nästa enklare processor i ordningen. Eftersom kylsystemet bara kan hantera den fullständiga prestandan en kort stund hamnar långtidsprestandan en bra bit under förväntningarna vi hade på den här processorn. Då minnet inte går att uppgradera bör man dessutom ta det i beaktande när man avgör vilket modell man köper. Men om du i huvudsak är intresserad av designen och rena siffror, snarare än den faktiska prestandan, kan du köpa den utan att tveka.
