Bluboo S8 ser bra ut, känns bra att hålla i och har en förvånansvärt ljusstark 18:9-skärm. Allt annat är helt enkelt halvdant som bäst och fungerar inte alls som värst.
Till att börja med så behöver Nordamerikanska användare vara medvetna om att Bluboo S8 inte har dom nödvändiga 3G eller 4G-radiofrekvenserna som krävs för kompatibilitet med dom stora teleoperatörerna. För det andra så kraschade telefonappen på vår enhet även efter att vi uppdaterat till senaste versionen av mjukvaran. Vibrationssignalen är svag, färgerna är fel, fingeravtrycksläsaren behöver många försök, kamerakvaliteten är grynig, högtalaren brusar till synes slumpartat och avsaknaden av en ljudutgång känns särskilt förolämpande när grundfunktionaliteten är ett sådant misslyckande. Kanske har vi helt enkelt fått en felaktig enhet, men det får i så fall Bluboos kvalitetskontroll samt enhetens livslängd att kännas tveksamma.
Till ytan en Galaxy S8-klon men på insidan en riktig budget-telefon. Vi förväntar oss inte mycket av en smartphone för under ~1 300 SEK ($150 USD) förutom grundläggande funktionalitet, men Bluboo S8 kan inte ens få samtal eller högtalartelefon att fungera pålitligt.
