Fujitsu LifeBook U748 är en gedigen företagslaptop, precis som sin föregångare. CPU-uppgraderingen förbättrar prestandan på bekostnad av batteritid då den nya processorn drar mer energi. I övrigt är LifeBook U748 en imponerande enhet med en bra tryckkänslig skärm och ett skapligt tangentbord som är bekvämt att arbeta med. Fläktljudet är hanterbart även om det ibland kan bli frustrerande samtidigt som högtalarna och webbkameran är ganska medelmåttiga. Dessa två blir dock ofta förbisedda på företagsenheter.

Fujitsu Lifebook U748 övertygar oss med en bra skärm, en snabb SSD-enhet och många säkerhetsfunktioner som är nödvändiga för en företagsenhet. Tyvärr är den undermåliga och utdaterade styrplattan kvar från förra årets modell.

Fujitsu har utrustat LifeBook U748 med samma illa vidtalade styrplatta som sin föregångare. Men som en kontrast till det så gillade vi den tunna designen och den stabila basen, som både känns och ser lyxig ut. Ett bra utbud av portar rundar av paketet, även om vi gärna hade sett en Thunderbolt 3-port.

Fujitsu LifeBook U748 får en rekommendation från oss då den levererar ett totalt sett bra paket. Konkurrensen fortsätter dock att förbättra sig, så LifeBook kommer ofta att ha svårt att hålla jämna steg med Lenovo ThinkPad T480s.
