Den utrustningsvariant av HP 15s som vi testat passar bäst för användare som inte har så höga krav. Systemet gör vad det ska och de vanliga kontorsprogrammen, internetsurfandet och mediakonsumtionen bör inte vara några problem. Vi gillade designen och hantverket kändes gediget. En batteritid på nästan sex timmar bör dessutom räcka till för de flesta.
Även om HP 15s nog kommer göra de flesta nöjda får den som vill ha ett optimalt system kompromissa en del.
Det är bara om man tar en närmare titt som svagheterna framträder. De är inte på något sätt allvarliga, men de kan leda till en del tveksamma blickar utanför den vanliga konsumentmarknaden. Vi kan acceptera att det inte går att uppgradera HP 15s alls. Men fläktens konstiga beteende som till och med har en negativ effekt på "Högsta prestanda"-profilen är ett större problem. För att kunna använda processorn bättre får man aktivt ställa in fläktkontrollen, men då ökar också ljudnivån kraftigt.
