Den 15.6-tums stora Spectre x360 15 är en utmärkt 2-i-1 med tillräcklig processorkraft för att hantera krävande applikationer. HP har lämnat höljet orört men uppdaterat hårdvaran med en mer kraftfull Kaby Lake-R CPU och ny GeForce-instegsgrafik. Den stora nyheten är förstås förbättringarna i CPU- och GPU-prestanda och på den punkten presterar Spectre bättre än sin föregångare med stor marginal - åtminstone när programmen kan dra nytta av dom två extra kärnorna. På så sätt kan denna omvandlingsbara dator, med sin intensiva 4K-skärm, 16 GB RAM och ännu snabbare 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD vara väldigt tilltalande för användare som letar efter en arbets-maskin som också kan hantera lättare speltjänstgöring.
Batteritiden har drabbats något, men med förståndigt användande kommer Spectre att hålla en hel arbetsdag. I övrigt gäller för och nackdelarna från den tidigare modellen: gångjärnen är inte riktigt stela nog för att hålla skärmen säkert i alla positioner, 4K-skärmen kan vara att gå till överdrift för vissa, särskilt med tanke på en del skalningsproblem och en 15.6-tums omvandlingsbar är ganska stor och tung, vilket kan begränsa dess användbarhet i surfplatteläge.
Efter denna uppfräschning av hårdvaran förblir HP Spectre x360 15t en pålitlig, välpresterande 2-i-1 som fortfarande är ett av dom bästa valen vid övervägande av en stor omvandlingsbar.
Användare som inte behöver en dedikerad GPU och som hade föredragit längre batteritid istället borde också ta en titt på den aningen mindre Lenovo Yoga 920.
