OnePlus X var en smärre sensation i mellanklassen när den lanserades. Detsamma gäller Honor 5C; högkvalitativa komponenter gömmer sig bakom i övrigt måttligt intressanta specifikationer, vilket innebär att testenheten kan utmana betydligt dyrare smartphones.
- Exempel 1 - kameran: Bilderna blir skarpa men inte alltför skarpa, samtidigt som färgåtergivningen är bra. Den främre kameran tar också hyfsade selfies. Gimmicks som 4K-inspelning finns inte med och kameran är inte lika bra i svagt ljus, men presterar ändå bra med tanke på priset.
- Exempel 2 - skärmen: Full HD, hög ljusstyrka, IPS – så mycket mer kan man inte begära när prislappen är fyrsiffrig och börjar på siffran 1. Svärtan kunde varit lägre och en blåaktig färgton är synlig, men det är också acceptabelt i prisklassen.
Bra allmänprestanda, ett stort batteri och bra röstkvalitet är andra fördelar. Honor 5C är definitivt en värdig och prisvärd utmanare av OnePlus X. Vårt testexemplar överträffar med bred marginal vad man kan förvänta sig i prisklassen.
Användare som ofta använder sin mobil på andra kontinenter kan bli besvikna på frekvensbanden, och det finns heller ingen riktigt snabb Wi-Fi-modul. Dessutom kan batteriet inte tas bort. Dual-SIM är bra att ha, men att man måste välja mellan ett extra SIM eller micro-SD-kort är olyckligt.
Å andra sidan är pris/prestanda-förhållandet suveränt. Luren får en solklar rekommendation.
