Huawei P20 Pro är en utmärkt smartphone. P20 Pro är i huvudsak baserad på Mate 10 Pro, och den sistnämnda gör en del saker bättre än P20 Pro. Mate 10 Pro har en estetiskt sett mer tilltalande design, längre batteritid och bättre samtalskvalitet för 2 500 kronor mindre, vid skrivande stund. Den stora fördelen med P20 Pro är dess Leica-trippelkamera, som fullständigt krossar Mate 10 Pro och all konkurrens.
Huawei har satt en ny standard för mobil fotografering med sin Leica-trippelkamera. P20 Pro är den enhet som alla andra smartphone-kameror nu kommer jämföras med.
Huawei P20 Pro har även lyxig hårdvara utöver den enastående kameran. Kirin 970 är en snabb SoC, det finns rikligt med intern lagring, en snabb USB-port, kvickt MIMO WiFi, IP67-certifiering, stark LTE-prestanda och stöd för aptX HD. Allt det här kommer med ett rejält batteri på 4,000 mAh och en imponerande skärm. Det finns dock några nackdelar som är värda att nämna. P20 Pro kunde ha presterat bättre på 2.4 Ghz WiFi och vi hade gärna sett både en 3.5 mm hörlursanslutning och utökningsbar lagring. Vi förväntade oss också en 1,440p-skärm på en enhet för det här priset släppt under 2018.
Trots detta så skiner kvaliteten hos Leica-trippelkameran igenom. P20 Pro tar inte bara utmärkta bilder utan mjukvaran är tillräckligt flexibel för att ta imponerande bilder oavsett vad du använder den till, till och med vid låg belysning. Videoinspelningen kunde ha varit bättre, men det är en petitess. Som exempel så kan P20 Pro inte spela in Ultra HD i 60 FPS och Full HD i 60 FPS är heller inte så imponerande även om prestandan har förbättrats jämfört med föregångaren. Totalt sett har P20 Pro för tillfället den bästa kameran hos någon smartphone.
