Det kinesiska bolaget följer upp P-seriens framgångar med Huawei P9 och har utvecklat sitt flaggskepp ytterligare. Ännu en gång är den stora IPS-panelen, prestandan, bildkvaliteten från Leica-kameran, den långa batteritid vad som främst imponerar på oss.
De komponenter som ingår fungerar bra överlag, men är inte alltid toppmoderna. Till exempel ingår inte LTE Cat. 9, utan endast den äldre Cat. 6-versionen. Visserligen är frekvensområdet brett. Det är också glädjande att röstkvaliteten inte har försummats. P9 bjuder på mycket bra samtalskvalitet och anständig dämpning av bakgrundsljud.
I kombination med det anspråkslösa gränssnittet EMUI 4.1 levererar systemkretsen enastående prestanda, men visar ganska märkbar strypning under kontinuerlig belastning. De dubbla kamerorna är ingen revolution inom mobil fotografering, men tar bra bilder med en mycket unik stil. Å andra sidan har kamerans videofunktionen svagheter. Inspelningar i 60 FPS är inte imponerande och Ultra HD finns inte att tillgå.
Även om Huawei har höjt priset på P9 har den fortfarande ett bra pris/prestanda-förhållande och är en balanserad helhet.
