Omdöme - En billig kontorslaptop som hålls tillbaka av en del brister

Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15API är en enkel kontorslaptop på 15.6 tum. Tack vare en ekonomisk Athlon 300U APU blir S145-15API knappt varm alls och håller sig alltid tyst. APU:n har dessutom tillräckligt med datorkraft för kontors- och internetapplikationer. Den presterar dessutom bättre än sina huvudkonkurrenter, nämligen Intels Celeron, Pentium Gold och Pentium Silver-processorer.
IdeaPad S145-15API positionerar sig som en billig skriv- och surfmaskin.
S145 är inte något mirakel när det kommer till anslutbarhet. Den inbyggda NVMe SSD-enheten har en kapacitet på bara 128 GB och 4G RAM är inte särskilt generöst. Det går dock att lägga till mer RAM eftersom datorn har en ledig SODIMM-plats. Lenovo har också inkluderat en enhetsplats på 2.5 tum och det går även att uppgradera den existerande 128 GB-enheten. För att lägga till eller uppgradera någon av dessa komponenter behöver höljet öppnas, men det är inte krångligt att göra.
Skärmen är heller inte av bästa klass. Det är en mörk TN-panel med låg kontrast som har instabila betraktningsvinklar och en upplösning på bara 1366x768. Lenovo har dessutom minskat konstnaderna ytterligare genom att bara inkludera ett batteri på 30 Wh. Som ett resultat har vår recensionsenhet inte särskilt bra batteritid. Även om tangentbordet visade sig vara tillräckligt bra för vardagsbruk så är det synd att det saknar bakgrundsbelysning.
Vid skrivande stund går det att få tag på vår recensionsenhet för runt 3.000 kronor i de vanliga onlinebutikerna. Det finns också en svart systermodell (81UT007EGE) med samma utrustning som redan går att få för runt 2.600 kr.
