Vår recension visar tydligt att det inte räcker att ta en existerande laptop-design och byta ut dess Intel-CPU mot en AMD Ryzen 5 2500U. Om Lenovo hade lagt lite tid och energi på att anpassa kyllösningen till den nya AMD CPU:n så hade denna Ryzen-baserade IdeaPad 720s kunnat bli ett riktigt alternativ till Intels 8:e generation Core-processorer.
Den AMD-baserade IdeaPad 720s är en gedigen och kraftfull laptop som begränsas av den katastrofalt dåliga och otillräckliga kyllösningen.
Trots det, denna AMD-SKU av Lenovos IdeaPad 720s är fortfarande en hyfsad kontorslaptop med tillräckligt av oomph för vardagliga kontorsuppgifter och grundläggande multimediautmaningar. Vi hade förväntat oss bättre prestanda än vad som erbjöds av den nyligen recenserade Intel SKU:n; tyvärr så föll den offer för Lenovos misslyckande med att anpassa enheten till AMD:s CPU på ett lämpligt sätt.
