Lenovo Legion 7 har ren spelprestanda som huvudfokus. En Core i9-10980HK CPU och en GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q GPU säkrar riktigt snabb bilduppdatering i spel, vilket datorn kan upprätthålla även vid ihållande belastning tack vare ett bra kylsystem. 240 Hz-skärmen har hög ljusstyrka och är utan like när det kommer till kvalitet. Även om en del konkurrenter erbjuder ännu bättre hantverk lämnade vår testenhet ett gediget intryck tack vare sitt metallhölje. Dessutom var den visuellt sett tilltalande. Det finns med andra ord ingen anledning att klaga på datorns grundkvaliteter.
Däremot lämnade inmatningsenheterna en hel del att önska. De var verkligen en besvikelse, särskilt om du hoppats på några likheter med Lenovos ThinkPad-modeller. Även om det kanske inte är helt nödvändigt att utrusta en speldator med de bästa styrplattorna bör man förvänta sig ett lite bättre tangentbord i den här prisklassen. Inte ens de många justerbara ljuseffekterna kan kompensera för detta.
Lenovo Legion 7 fokuserar på det viktigaste.
Men det största felet med Legion 7 är egentligen att den släpps nu: Den nya generationen av mobila grafikkort, som troligen kommer innebära ett stort steg framåt i prestanda, kan släppas så tidigt som i Januari nästa år. Så oavsett om du hoppas på högre prestanda eller lägre pris kan det vara värt att vänta ett tag. I det sistnämnda fallet kan det också vara värt att hålla kolla på hur priset på Legion 7 utvecklas, för den är fortfarande en imponerande spellaptop med bra hantverk och en förstklassig skärm.
