Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH är fortfarande en kraftfull spellaptop som kan köra alla moderna AAA-spel i 1080p, även efter bytet till en GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU. Även om Turing-kortet inte har stöd för DLSS eller raytracing som RTX 2060 har så är det sistnämnda ändå inte tillräckligt kraftfull för att utnyttja dessa nya tekniker. Du kommer därför inte sakna några funktioner om du väljer GTX 1660 Ti istället för RTX 2060.
I korthet är Y540-15IRH en spellaptop från mittenskiktet som klarar av att upprätthålla sin potential under längre tidsperioder tack vare ett skapligt kylsystem. Det har dessutom goda servicemöjligheter och en extra 2.5-tumsplats om du behöver extra lagring.

Det som är underligt med Y540-15IRH är att Lenovo valt att stänga av den inbyggda GPU:n som standard, vilket gör att GTX 1660 Ti alltid är aktiv. Som ett resultat av det fick vår recensionsenhet katastrofal batteritid med de grundläggande inställningarna, men det går att slå på den inbyggda GPU:n i BIOS vilket förbättrar batteritiden dramatiskt.
