Liksom förra årets motsvarigheter Yoga 3 14 och Yoga 3 Pro känns Yoga 700 som en budgetversion av Yoga 900. Det är inte nödvändigtvis negativt, eftersom de centrala Yoga-funktionerna inte är funktionellt sämre på något sätt. I stället har Yoga 700 designats för att se större, tyngre och mindre lyxig ut, med resultatet att den tyvärr är mindre behaglig att använda som surfplatta.

En viktig fördel med Yoga 700 jämfört med den mer avancerade Yoga 900 är att tjockleken medger en dedikerad Nvidia-GPU. Om spel är en viktig faktor rekommenderar vi en konfiguration med Nvidia-kretsen framför Yoga 900. Annars är även en enklare modell av Yoga 900 en bättre investering. Om priset är viktigt kan förra årets Yoga 3 14 eller Yoga 3 Pro fortfarande vara intressanta – mycket lite har förändrats bortsett från Lenovos nya modellnamn.

Yoga 700 är en av de bästa kombinationerna av bärbar dator och surfplatta i prisklassen med dedikerad GPU. Ljusstyrkan, storleken och vikten begränsar däremot surfplatteläget till inomhusbruk. Yoga 900 är ett bättre alternativ för resor och utomhusbruk.
