Kombinationen av en Ryzen 7 4700U APU, 16 GB RAM (dubbla kanaler, fastlött, inga lediga platser) och en NVMe SSD-enhet på 1 TB gav riktigt bra resultat i våra tester. En extra NVMe SSD-plats finns tillgänglig om du skulle behöva mer lagring.

Lenovos Yoga Slim 7 14ARE05 är en kompakt, kraftfull och portabel allt-i-allo på 14 tum. Vi hade dock föredragit en matt skärm.

Datorn höll sig för det mesta skapligt tyst och sval. Det bakgrundsbelysta tangentbordet passade bra för vardagsbruk. IPS-skärmen har FHD-upplösning, breda betraktningsvinklar, tillräcklig färgprecision, ett acceptabelt färgomfång, hyfsad ljusstyrka och ett bra kontrastförhållande. Tyvärr valde Lenovo en reflekterande skärm.

Tack vare ett batteri på 61 Wh stod den sig nästan 11 timmar i vårt WiFi-test. En fördel är USB-C nätadaptern som går att ansluta till båda USB-C portarna (1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2). DisplayPort genom USB-C stöds bara av USB 3.2 Gen 2-porten medans Power Delivery 3.0 stöds av båda. Tyvärr finns Thunderbolt 3 bara på de Intel-utrustade varianterna. Vi hade gärna sett att en potentiell efterföljare rättar till den bristen.
