Om du förväntade dig stora förbättringar från Kaby Lake kan vår slutsats vara en besvikelse. Intels nya processorarkitektur verkar inte vara kapabel att sänka temperaturen eller ljudnivån enligt våra första recensioner. Mätningarna av strömförbrukning och prestanda med samma klockfrekvens skiljer sig knappast från jämförbara bärbara datorer med Skylake heller.
Den nya versionen av GT73VR är återigen en mycket välbyggd (om än ganska tung och skrymmande) bärbar spelmaskin, som inte har några större nackdelar i något avseende. Den hanterar även de mest krävande spelen utan ansträngning.
