Nokia 5.1 är designad som en instegstelefon för användare som vill ha en viss kvalitetsstandard. Det är åtminstone vad det ser ut som och telefonen levererar i det hänseendet. Man får en billig telefon som i alla fall inte förtjänar någon kritik utifrån sett. Designen är tidlös och smidig och den använder material av hög kvalitet på ett tidlöst sätt. Skärmen är stor, tillräckligt ljusstark och har hög upplösning. Den känns också bra att hantera. Även om insidans specifikationer kan se tråkiga ut är de i linje med förhållandet mellan pris och prestanda och kan på så sätt anses vara "att skära ned på rätt saker". Kamerans kvalitet ligger över genomsnittet och passar målgruppens behov. För att sammanfatta: Det är en perfekt instegs-smartphone om du föredrar en gedigen enhet för 500 kronor extra istället för en aningen bättre utrustad importerad mittenskiktsenhet, som eventuellt kan komma med en del egenheter och en svår garantisituation.
Ett perfekt steg in i smartphone-världen
Vårt största klagomål rör den dåligt dimensionerade interna lagringen. Här hade 32 GB gett användaren mer spelrum. Och sen är det förstås batteritiden, som borde ha varit mycket bättre.
Men detta är ändå en utmärkt smartphone för den som i huvudsak vill använda sin telefon till att ringa, skicka meddelanden, kolla epost och då och då kolla upp något på internet eller spela ett enklare spel. Men vi rekommenderar ett köp av ett minneskort och en power bank tillsammans med telefonen.
