Nokia 5.3 känns lite som att den ligger ett år efter. Förra året kunde den fått poäng för ett relativt stort batteri, ett flexibelt kamerasystem och skaplig prestanda för sin klass. Under 2020, och för 2.000 kronor, har den däremot för lite jämfört med konkurrenterna och lider av en del brister som vi inte kan förlåta, inte ens för en enhet för 2.000 kronor:
Den blir alldeles för varm vid belastning, till och med vid rumstemperatur. WLAN-datafrekvenserna varierar och den har långsamt LTE. Skärmen har dessutom en kraftigt blå ton, vilket verkligen inte behöver vara fallet 2020.
Nokia 5.3 har en del svagheter och hamnar därför långt efter konkurrenter med samma pris.
Nokia 5.3 är förvisso lätt och tunn, har skaplig batteritid och prestandan är tillräcklig för enkelt vardagsbruk. Mjukvaran är uppdaterad och tack vare Android One är du säker de kommande två åren i fråga om uppdateringar. Men kameran kan knappt övertyga den heller och det finns helt enkelt så många bättre alternativ från andra tillverkare, så vi finner det svårt att rekommendera Nokias telefon.
I bästa fall, om priset snabbt går ner ordentligt, kan telefonen passa bra för användare med låga krav.
