OnePlus 6 är en smartphone av väldigt hög kvalitet som erbjuder toppskikts-funktioner med ett utmärkt förhållande mellan pris och prestanda. OnePlus struntar helt i VR, vilket även märks på skärmteknologin, där en FHD+-upplösning får räcka. Generellt verkar det inte finnas några framsteg när det gäller panelen. Jacket är helt och hållet en fråga om smak. Vi hade önskat något i stil med Apples True Tone-skärm eller en 120 Hz-panel. Avvikandet från en helkropp i aluminium följer också en trend, men den ger inte denna OnePlus-telefon trådlös laddning. Dessutom, i stället för en snabbare överföringsstandard som hade kunnat erbjuda fler funktioner såsom videoutmatning eller ett desktop-läge så förlitar man sig på USB 2.0.
OnePlus fokuserar istället på telefonens kärnfunktioner och utrustar sin senaste smartphone med högre hastighet, lagring som både är större och snabbare, uppdaterad mjukvara och en bra kamera. Men framstegen jämfört med föregångaren är marginella. Batteritiden är ungefär samma som föregångarens, vilket, även om det inte är en överraskning, fortfarande är trevligt då OnePlus 5T klarade sig riktigt länge. Dessutom kommer den med samma blixtsnabba snabbladdnings-teknik som vi känner igen från OnePlus 5T, även om den inte längre bär namnet Dash Charge (namnet behövde bytas på grund av licenskonflikter).
OnePlus har återigen producerat en utmärkt smartphone. Den föregår en del toppskickts-gimmicks, men OnePlus 6 lyckas utmärkt med att kombinera hög prestanda med ett lågt pris.
För att summera så levererar OnePlus återigen en riktigt bra smartphone. Men konkurrensen i det här området ökar. I synnerhet Honor 10 med sin aggressiva prissättning (utgångspris från 4.000 kronor) är inte att skratta åt och den snart tillgängliga Asus ZenFone 5z samt Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s spelar i samma liga både i fråga om teknologi och pris.
