Samsung har tidigare gjort en del märkliga val när det kommer till vilka funktioner man exkluderar från sina billiga telefoner. Galaxy A10 är ett exempel på detta då den saknar ljussensor, kompass, notis-LED och fingeravtrycksläsare. Andra telefoner för under 2.000 kronor har åtminstone några av dessa funktioner, vilket gör det ännu svårare att rekommendera Galaxy A10 åt folk.
Det är synd att dessa saker saknas, för annars hade Galaxy A10 varit en skaplig budgettelefon. Samsung har lagt in mycket kraft för pengarna och Galaxy A10 kan till och med spela en del moderna spel i 60 FPS. Vår recensionsenhet klarade också att hantera yttemperaturerna väl samtidigt som den ensamma bakåtriktade kameran tog skapliga bilder. Den har också en ganska exakt GPS-modul och en kontrastrik skärm. Det är dessutom ganska sällsynt att se en budgettelefon som kommer med Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy A10 ger mycket kraft för pengarna, men Samsung har kompromissat med lite för mycket för att vi ska kunna rekommendera den.
I slutändan är Galaxy A10 en gedigen budgettelefon om du kan se bortom Samsungs underliga beslut. Men att den saknar grundläggande funktioner som automatisk ljusstyrka och fingeravtrycksläsare kan nog få många att leta på andra ställen.
