Samsung Galaxy J1 årsmodell 2016 lämnade oss med blandade intryck. Samsung har förbättrat instegsmodellen på vissa sätt. Det gäller i synnerhet skärmen, som övertygar inom alla områden utom upplösningen. Prestanda och funktionalitet är också lite bättre, eftersom det nu ingår en fyrkärnig systemkrets, LTE, och även NFC den här gången.
Galaxy J1 är däremot fortfarande en instegsmodell, vilket bland annat bekräftas när man använder kameran. Det är samma moduler som Samsung använde till föregångaren, förmodligen för att hålla avståndet till Galaxy J3.
Priset är också det största problemet med Galaxy J1. En prislapp på ca 1500 kr är alltför hög enligt vår mening, när Galaxy J3 med en större skärm, högre upplösning, fler funktioner och bättre kameror bara är marginellt dyrare.
Utöver kamerorna måste du även kompromissa med prestanda och minne. Galaxy J1 stöder fortfarande inte 5 GHz Wi-Fi. På plussidan har den lång batteritid och ett välbyggt hölje. Vi har inga större problem med 2016-modellen i allmänhet, men skulle ändå vänta med ett eventuellt köp tills priset har sjunkit lite.
