Omdöme - Det borde funnits mer i Galaxy M20

Ett lågt pris, i det här fallet 2.290 kronor, är inte allt och prestandan måste vara rätt. Men så är i huvudsak fallet med Samsung Galaxy M20, åtminstone när det kommer till vardagsbruk. Den utmärkta skärmen är stor och skarp och med tunn infattning och ett cirkeljack känns hela enheten ganska modern. Dessutom är 64 GB internt minne generöst för ett pris på under 2.500 kronor. Processorn, tillsammans med 4 GB RAM, presterar bra i de flesta situationer, dock inte i prestandatester. Batteriet är en höjdpunkt. Även om M20 inte kommer i närheten av maratonlöpare som Moto G7 Power så visar den prov på större uthållighet än en majoritet av smartphonemarknaden.
Å andra sidan gillade vi inte kameran alls. Även om ultravidvinkelslinsen från mittenskiktet fortfarande låter lovande på papperet så gav vårt test en anledning att bryta den illusionen. Även om huvudkameran levererar skapliga bilder i bra ljusförhållanden så gäller det inte ultravidvinkelslinsen. När ljuset försvinner blir bildkvaliteten från de båda linserna snabbt oanvändbar.
Samsung Galaxy M20 kombinerar tillverkarens vanliga styrkor med oväntade svagheter. Oavsett det låga priset borde det funnits mer här.
Andra negativa aspekter inkluderar en inte helt modern version av Android och att höljet består av ett enkelt plastmaterial. Med tjusiga aluminiumhöljen och de senaste Android-versionerna ligger konkurrenterna i samma prisskikt definitivt före. Den som kan se bortom dessa brister får en skaplig smartphone från en marknadsledare till ett jämförelsevis lågt pris.
