I likhet med sin syskonmodell är Samsung Galaxy M31s inte perfekt; den har lite för lite prestanda för sitt prisskikt och kameran behöver förbättras på en del områden.
Det väldigt stora batteriet och den resulterande långa batteritiden vid låg eller mediumbelastning är ett starkt argument för Samsungs mittenskikts-telefon. AMOLED-skärmen med skaplig färgprecision är förstås också bra och vi gillade att telefonen hade en dedikerad microSD-plats samt stöd för ett ganska brett utbud av LTE-frekvenser. Monohögtalaren är inte ett HiFi-system, men den är inte dålig för en mittenskiktstelefon.
Samsung Galaxy M31s har en del höjdpunkter i form av lång batteritid och en stark AMOLED-skärm. Men systemet hade behövt vara mer kraftfullt.
Däremot var positioneringen inte särskilt exakt. Samsung har också installerat en relativt stor mängd bloatware och har vid skrivande stund inte riktigt hållt sin telefon uppdaterad med nya säkerhetspatchar.
Telefonen lämnade ett blandat intryck. Galaxy M31s diskvalificerar sig inte från ett köp och kan dessutom stå ut när det kommer till områden som batteritid. Men det finns också stark konkurrens i det här prisskiktet som har mer prestanda och till viss del också modern 5G-anslutbarhet.
