Samsung Galaxy S10e är en förstklassig smartphone som är väl värd att överväga framför de betydligt dyrare modellerna Galaxy S10 och S10+. Det finns en del kompromisser, som att den saknar en tredje bakåtriktad kamera eller alternativ för keramisk baksida, men du får ändå en enhet med lyxig design som har en hörlursanslutning, snabbt LTE, en kraftfull SoC och en kamera som kan tävla med andra flaggskeppstelefoner.
Du får klara dig med mindre lagring och RAM, men för de flesta bör det inte vara särskilt betungande. Men en mörkare skärm, sämre batteritid och högre yttemperaturer är värt att överväga om du väljer mellan S10e och Galaxy S10. Vi rekommenderar också att du ser upp för problem med den tryckkänsliga skärmen när du spelar "Arena of Valor", vilket vi noterade i vårt test. Vi har inte sett några liknande problem när vi spelat det spelet på andra enheter. Att Samsung vägrar stödja aptX HD på S10e och dess syskon är en större anledning till frustration, vilket känns obstinat mer än något annat.
Den billigaste medlemmen i S10-familjen är ett utmärkt alternativ till sina dyrare syskon. Men du får klara dig med färre flashiga funktioner såsom en fingeravtrycksläsare inbyggd i skärmen. Du får däremot fortfarande en flaggskeppstelefon som levererar på rätt områden.
För att sammanfatta; S10e kommer inte med något nytt, men det gör inte heller Galaxy S10 eller S10+. Den levererar däremot en gedigen flaggskeppsupplevelse och presterar bra på de flesta områden. Vi ser däremot gärna ett större steg framåt i bildkvalitet för nästa generations Galaxy S-enheter, för konkurrenterna har börjat gå om Samsungs S10-serie, särskilt i situationer med lite ljus. I korthet, S10e är mer prisvärd än både Galaxy S10 och S10+.
