Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge är en enastående smartphone visuellt och tekniskt. Den koreanska tillverkaren kunde ha erbjudit fler anslutningsmöjligheter i form av modernare LTE och framförallt vad gäller gränssnitten. Särskilt tråkig är avsaknaden av USB typ C.
I övrigt gör Samsung nästan allt rätt. Skärmen är i skrivande stund den bästa som vi någonsin har testat i en smartphone och kameran tar utmärkta bilder även i svagt ljus. Men det som verkligen ger mervärde jämfört med standardmodellen av Galaxy S7 är den exceptionella batteritiden. Kantskärmarna ser bra ut, men är mest en smaksak.
Samsungs Galaxy S7 Edge kombinerar bra prestanda, en briljant skärm, en utmärkt kamera och riktigt bra batteritid. Därför kan Samsung med rätta försvara sin topposition bland nuvarande smartphones med sin nya Galaxy S7-uppställning. Visserligen kan de nya modellerna ses mer som produktuppdateringar än lysande innovationer.
