Omdöme - Sony pensionerar block-designen

Med Xperia L3 levererar Sony en smartphone med ett bra förhållande mellan pris och prestanda. Den inbyggda hårdvaran är tillräcklig för det här prisskiktet och prestandan räcker till för alla vanliga vardagsuppgifter. Dualkameran kan ta skapliga bilder och högtalaren lämpar sig till och med för en del mediaåtergivning. Batteritiden ligger också på samma nivå som hos konkurrenterna och i fråga om design har Sony äntligen tagit ett stort steg framåt.
Men vårt test avslöjade också en del svagheter som i huvudsak härstammar från mjukvaran. En del prestandatester gick inte att köra eller kunde inte känna av den aktiva internetanslutningen. Huruvida detta är problem som märks generellt lär man som köpare först upptäcka vid kontinuerlig användning. Men en framtida mjukvaruuppdatering kan lätt lösa problem som uppstår.
Även om Sony Xperia L3 är en bra instegs-smartphone så kämpar den med en del mindre mjukvaruproblem.
