Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Xiaomi Mi 9 är en triumf som är så prisvärd att den får andra flaggskepp att skämmas. Basmodellen, som har 6 GB RAM och 64 GB lagring, är välutrustad enligt modern flaggskepps-standard. Men modellen på 128 GB kan vara ett bättre val eftersom det inte går att utöka lagringen på Mi 9.

Xiaomi har utrustat alla Mi 9-modeller med en utmärkt bakåtriktad trippelkamera och en ljusstark AMOLED-skärm med exemplarisk färgprecision, allt i ett tjusigt glashölje av hög kvalitet. Nya Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 gör dessutom Mi 9 till en av de kraftigaste telefonerna som går att köpa för tillfället. Detta kommer dock att ändras när fler telefoner som drivs av Snapdragon 855 släpps.

Xiaomi Mi 9 är rätt smartphone att köpa om du letar efter en flaggskeppsupplevelse men vill tänka på budgeten. Den erbjuder allt som konkurrenterna har men utan att man behöver spendera en förmögenhet.

Även om vi har några klagomål, såsom att den saknar en hörlursanslutning och inte stödjer microSD-kort, så är Mi 9 i gott sällskap eftersom många av dess konkurrenter också saknar de funktionerna. Det eleganta glashöljet drar åt sig fingeravtryck och den bakåtriktade trippelkamerans kamerahus gör att enheten gungar när den ligger på ett bord, men dessa småsaker förtar inte faktum att detta är en av de bästa flaggskepps-upplevelserna som går att köpa för pengar i början av 2019.
